There are many different demands of a mould release agent in modern construction and different types have been developed to meet those demands. This document describes the categories of release agents currently available, outlining their advantages and disadvantages. The aim is to provide the background information required to make an informed decision, rather than to produce strict guidelines as to which release agent is the preferred choice for each application.
