Power-trowelled concrete floor and lignite

Lignite is a soft, weak, coal-like substance brown or black in colour that occurs naturally in some aggregate sources. Lignite can cause problems with power-trowelled floor slabs and architectural finishes. This document discusses the problems associated with lignite in power-trowelled concrete floors.
