This report on the use of precast concrete arch structures provides guidance on good practice based on the experience of the industry suppliers. It is not a detailed design guide but provides advice to structural engineers on such structures. There are some 66 arch structures in the UK and Ireland. This versatile form of construction currently has examples of spans from 3-20m and lengths of 2.5-361m.
