This is the third edition of Concrete Society Technical Report 43 Post-tensioned floors – Design handbook.

This report explains the overall concept of post-tensioned concrete floor construction as well as giving detailed design recommendations. The intention is to simplify the tasks of the designer and contractor enabling them to produce effective and economic structures.

The aim of this updated 3rd edition report is to ensure it is aligned with the design procedure and recommendations of BS EN 1992-1-1:2004 Eurocode 2: Design of concrete structures and reflects current practice and guidance on applying the Eurocode within the UK market.
